A vintage 1970's English silver charm of a purse that opens to reveal an antique silver George V threepence coin inside. I have multiples of these handbag charms available, all in a similar size, weight and condition to the description below. All of the coins date between 1914 and 1918.
It measures 28mm (1 inch 1/8th) by 22mm (7/8ths of an inch) and weighs approximately 6.5 grammes (including the coin). Unmarked but tested as sterling silver with a secure closure and in very good condition just slightly tarnished.
