How much is postage/what are your shipping rates?
Shipping is FREE for all UK orders. Shipping is FREE for worldwide customers on orders over £100. For worldwide orders under £100 shipping will depend on your location but costs between £7-£10 (quoted during checkout) and will include tracking.
Insurance is available, as an optional extra, to all customers and will be quoted for during checkout. The price will be dependent on the delivery destination and the value of your order.
Where are you based?
In North Lincolnshire, England. I am a mail order only company.
Who do you use to process online payments and is it secure? I use Shopify Payments where you can pay with any credit or debit card. Alternatively you can use Paypal. Both of these payment gateways are fully secure. I do not hold any of your financial details. If you are in the UK you can also pay by instant bank deposit. Sorry UK cheques are no longer accepted.
Do you do layaways?
Yes I do layaways. My preferred layaway is over 2 payments, the first being due immediately and for 1/2 the order amount. The second payment due within one month. If you wish to discuss a different plan please contact me beforehand. If the layaway is not completed but a payment has already been made on account, a refund will be given minus 10% of the full order amount, minimum £20, as a cancellation fee. Please be aware that there are no refunds available on layaway items if the charm/bracelet is not to your liking. A website credit will be given instead, valid for 6 months.
How quickly do I get my order?
I aim to pack and dispatch your order within 4 working days of receiving your cleared payment. I do not dispatch on Saturdays. UK postage takes 1-2 working days for delivery, Europe takes 4-7 working days and USA, Canada, Japan, Australia and the rest of the World takes 7-10 working days for delivery.
Will there be import duty or taxes to pay?
All non UK destinations are now charged customs fees and import taxes, including Europe since Jan 1st 2021. It is your responsibility, as the customer, to pay all applicable customs fees and taxes for your country. These will not be refunded if you want to return an item.
Are all the items vintage?
All the charms are original vintage or antique except for our Modern Designer collection. I do not sell reproduction charms, ie; modern made to look old.
Do you buy vintage charms?
Yes, I do buy vintage and antique charms, either individual items, whole bracelets or collections. You can drop me an email along with photos and I will be happy to take a look and make you an offer if it is something I am interested in. Unfortunately I am unable to do valuations for insurance purposes.
I am looking for a particular charm but cannot find it, can you help?
If you can’t find what you are looking for on the site, drop me a line with what you want. I can let you know the next time one comes into stock.
Can I cancel an order I have just placed?
If you change your mind on an order before it is packaged I am happy to cancel it. If you have paid by any method other than Paypal it will be a straightforward refund of your original payment with no cost to you. However, if you paid by Paypal, from April 1st 2020 Paypal will no longer refund their fees, even if it is literally a few minutes since you placed the order. In these cases, I am sorry to say, your refund will be minus the Paypal fees.
Do you accept returns?
Yes I accept returns. Any item can be returned within 7 days of receiving it if you have a change of mind. For you to receive a refund (minus my original postage and packing costs and Paypal fees if applicable) the item must be received back in the same condition that it was sent and you must notify me that it is being returned beforehand. You will need to pay for the return postage. If you are returning an item because it is faulty or has been grossly miss-described then I will give you a full refund and refund you for the return postage but this must have been agreed beforehand. Any customs fees or import taxes will not be refunded.
My order hasn't arrived, what do I do?
Unfortunately parcels do go missing. I obtain certificates of posting for all items and I will happily pursue any claims for you but I will have to wait for the appropriate time to have passed before I can make a claim through the post office. For UK parcels this is 15 working days and for overseas it is 8 weeks unless it was insured in which case it is 25 working days. If you are concerned that a parcel is missing just drop me a line.
