A small vintage 1940’s English solid 9ct rose gold charm of an RAF (Royal Air Force) spitfire with enamel target detailing to the wings. Such a lovely piece.
It measures 17mm (11/16ths of an inch) by 15mm (5/8ths of an inch) and weighs 0.7 grammes. Marked 9CT on the back. There is damage to one of the enamel targets, you can see where the tip of the wing has been bent slightly, but such a hard charm to find. Overall I would still rate as very good condition. It originally had a yellow gold wash but most of this has worn to show the rose gold underneath.
