Large Antique Victorian c1895 15ct Gold & Ruby Heart Perfume Bottle Charm

A large antique Victorian c1895 15ct gold heart perfume bottle charm, on hanging chains, set with a single ruby to the front. A wonderfully pretty piece … but with a dent to the reverse. 

The heart measures 22mm (7/8ths of an inch) by 14mm (5/8ths of an inch) and has a hanging length, including the chains, of 35mm (1 inch 3/8ths). The total weight is 1.8 grammes. Marked on the back “15C” along with a maker’s mark “M&C”. The lid pulls out, to reveal sponge inside, and fits securely. There is, unfortunately, a dent to the back which might be improved by an expert. There is a very slight indentation to the front within the engraved decoration but otherwise it is in super condition.
