Heavy Antique Edwardian c1910 9ct Rose Gold & Silver Opening Masonic Ball Charm

A heavy good sized antique Edwardian c1910 English 9ct rose gold and silver masonic ball charm that opens to a cross shape. The hinged arms are solid 9ct gold and the ball is 9ct gold on silver.

It measures 18mm (6/8ths of an inch) in diameter, excluding the suspension bale, when closed and has a length of 44mm (1 inch 13/16ths) when opened out as a cross. The overall weight is 11.5 grammes. Marked "9CT" on each of the hinged arms and tested as 9ct gold on silver on the fold out sections. The arms keep it closed securely though it does rattle slightly. It works perfectly and has a swivel top when open. There are some scratches, a couple of tiny areas of wear and some general signs of usage but overall it is in very good condition.
