An antique Victorian c1900 solid 18ct yellow gold dog clip fastener with swivel top, perfect for hanging fobs and charms from a necklace chain or long guard.
It measures 20mm (13/16ths of an inch) by 7mm (2/8ths of an inch) and weighs 2.1 grammes. Marked “18” for 18ct gold along with the assay mark for London. It has a lovely secure fastener and is in superb condition. The top does swivel but it is quite stiff.
