A large antique Edwardian silver stamp case holder, in the style of an envelope, that opens to reveal a space for stamps inside, with lovely engraved designs to both sides. Please note there are the initials “ESG” crudely engraved on the front.
It measures 30mm (1 inch 3/16ths) by 23mm (15/16ths of an inch) and weighs 4.2 grammes. Fully hallmarked for Chester 1906, maker S&Co, with a secure closure. It is very slightly pushed in on one side but otherwise very good condition. Sorry I didn't have an Edwardian stamp, I have included a 1990's one instead.
