An antique c1915 French silver and enamel lucky clover charm, “Porte Bonheur” which translates to “Lucky Charm”. A lovely piece.
It measures 16mm (5/8ths of an inch) in diameter, excluding the suspension bale, and weighs 2.4 grammes. Unmarked but tested as at least 800 grade silver. The enamel is in superb condition, such a rare find. This piece was originally gilded but most of it has now worn away, a small amount is still visible to the reverse. The bale is open but still feels fully secure. A wonderfully rare charm.
