Antique 1914-1917 WWI Solid Silver “Think of Me” Dove Remembrance Charm HM 1916

A large antique WWI solid silver double sided charm with a dove on one side and the words “Think of me at mid-day, I’ll think of thee”. The other side also shows a dove with the words “Remembrance 1914-1917”. A very unusual piece.

It measures 29mm (1 inch 1/8th) by 26mm (1 inch) and weighs 4.4 grammes. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1916 with the registered number 659709. There is very light general surface wear but overall very good condition.
