Vintage 1960's Silver Opening Cheque Book Charm Paper Cheques Inside

A vintage 1960's English silver charm of a cheque book, from “London Bank Ltd”, that opens to reveal five paper cheques inside, what a fabulous survivor. 

It measures 26mm (1 inch) by 10mm (3/8ths of an inch) and weighs 2.7 grammes. Unmarked but tested as sterling silver with a secure closure. The staple inside, that holds the cheques together, is very rusty and has tarnished both the inside cover and the top cheque. The other cheques and the silver covers are in very good condition just lightly tarnished.
