Large Vintage 1960's Silver Nuvo Opening Statue of Liberty Charm Peace Dove Inside

A super rare large vintage 1960's English silver Nuvo charm of the Statue of Liberty that opens to reveal a dove inside with the words “Peace” and “Liberty”. A very hard piece to find.

It measures 28mm (1 inch 1/8th) by 11mm (7/16ths of an inch) and weighs 4.8 grammes. Marked "Nuvo Regd” and tested as sterling silver. It closes securely though the base does rattle when closed. There is light general surface wear and tarnish but overall very good condition.
