A vintage 1960's English 9ct gold charm of a sewing machine with multiple moving parts. Rotating the handle makes the needle move up and down very slightly and the bobbin on the top to move. There is also a hinged spool on the side. A fabulous piece.
It measures 21mm (13/16ths of an inch) by 11mm (7/16ths of an inch) and weighs 2.4 grammes. Fully hallmarked for London 1969. The handle is a little stiff to rotate fully round but the moving parts work with the handle only rotated a little. Overall it is in very good condition and a rare survivor.
