Antique c1900 Silver & Enamel "Kleine Blumlein Sprecht Fur Mich" Forget-me-not Flower Charm
An antique c1900 Austrian souvenir silver and enamel disc charm with lovely sentiment. "Kleine Blumlein Sprecht Fur Mich" which translates to "Little Flower Speak For Me" along with 3 blue enamel forget-me-not flowers. The back is marked “Andenken Maria Zell”, a souvenir of Mariazell. A very sweet and unusual piece.
It measures 17mm (11/16ths of an inch) in diameter, excluding the suspension bale, and weighs 1 gramme. Marked with the Vienna import mark for 1872-1901 and tests as around 800 grade silver. There is a tiny bit of damage to the top flower which is only visible with a jeweller’s loupe, otherwise, it is in lovely condition just slightly tarnished.
