Small Vintage 1950’s 14ct 14k Gold Opening Envelope Charm with Paper Letter Inside

I am so pleased to have found another of these teeny fully opening envelope charms. It is a vintage 1950's European 14ct gold envelope with a heart seal. The top flap hinges open to a teeny space inside which reveals a tiny piece of plain paper, fully removable with care. Perfect for writing a tiny name or word. Such a wonderful piece. 

It measures 11mm (7/16ths of an inch) by 7mm (2/8ths of an inch) and weighs 0.6 grammes. Unmarked but tested as 14ct gold. There is no catch on the envelope but the hinge is tight and it stays closed by itself. There is light general surface wear to the envelope (a scratch is visible in the photos) and slight grubbiness to the edge of the paper but overall lovely condition.
