Vintage 1920's 9ct Gold Mounted Real Scarab Beetle Charm

A vintage 1920's 9ct gold charm set with a real scarab beetle, such a wonderful iridescent green colour.

It measures 16mm (5/8ths of an inch) by 12mm (1/2 an inch), excluding the suspension bale, and weighs 1 gramme. Unmarked but tested as 9ct gold. The mount originally had a higher carat wash but some of this has worn to reveal rose gold underneath. Overall it is in excellent condition.
