Large Antique Victorian 1893 Silver & Green Enamel Lucky Clover Heart Charm

A large antique Victorian Austro/Hungarian silver and green enamel lucky four leaf clover heart charm, beautifully engraved to the back “1893” along with a treble clef. 

It measures 20mm (13/16ths of an inch) by 19mm (6/8ths of an inch), excluding the suspension bale, and weighs 4.6 grammes. It is hallmarked with the Austro Hungarian lion head mark for 750 standard silver which was used between 1886 and 1922 which fits perfectly with the engraved date to the back. The heart is of a hollow construction but is heavy so, I assume, has been filled with some kind of plaster or gesso type material. There is surface wear to the whole piece, slight tarnish and some small scratches to the enamel but overall, considering the age, is in very good condition.
