Large Vintage 1940's WWII Trench Art Style Plastic Photo Locket Charm

A large vintage 1940's WWII homemade trench art type photo locket made with different pieces of coloured plastic (possibly bakelite) and mother of pearl. The photo is not removable. An unusual one off piece.

It measures 21mm (13/16ths of an inch) by 17mm (11/16ths of an inch), excluding the brass suspension bale, and weighs 2.7 grammes. The photo has yellowed over time but otherwise all in very good condition.
