A vintage 1960's English 9ct gold whale charm that opens to reveal Jonah praying inside.
It measures 24mm (15/16ths of an inch) by 9mm (3/8ths of an inch) and weighs 2.6 grammes. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1962 with a secure closure. Jonah was originally enamel painted but most of this has now worn away. Otherwise all in very good condition.
