A fabulous vintage retro 1960's English 9ct gold locket ball or sphere set with green paste stones to the front and opening to reveal two spaces inside for photographs or hair.
It measures 16mm (5/8ths of an inch) in diameter, excluding the suspension bale, and weighs 5.9 grammes. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1966 along with the registered design number “929.971”. It closes securely and has both rims and plastic “glasses” inside. Other than some light surface wear to the back it is in super condition.
