A large antique Victorian c1890’s gilt metal opening locket set with garnets around the edge and filled with pink gems and paste stones. Such a pretty piece. I have turned it into a shaker locket but it could easily hold hair or photos.
It measures 28mm (1 inch 1/8th) in diameter, excluding the suspension bale, and weighs 6.7 grammes. It has a secure closure and is in fantastic condition.
