Large Antique Victorian Brass & Enamel Hunting Horn Fob Charm with Working Compass

A large antique Victorian c1880 brass and turquoise & cream enamel hunting horn charm or fob with a tiny fully working compass set in the end. Such an unusual piece.

It measures 40mm (1 inch 5/8ths) by 34mm (1 inch 5/16ths) and weighs 5.9 grammes. It was gold plated originally but nearly all of this has now worn away. There is a small chip to one section of the cream enamel otherwise the enamel is in lovely condition. The compass works perfectly and overall the piece is in very good condition.
