A large antique Edwardian c1905 flat 9ct rose gold charm of a monkey with ruby eyes, an unusual piece with wonderful detailing.
It measures 27mm (1 inch 1/16th) by 17mm (11/16ths of an inch) and weighs 2.6 grammes. Marked “REGD 9CT”. The charm originally had a yellow gold wash but most of this has worn away to reveal the rose gold underneath. There is a small chip to one of the eyes and some slight surface wear but overall a lovely piece.
