Large Antique Edwardian 9ct Rose Gold & Nephrite Jade Heart Charm HM 1908

A large antique Edwardian carved nephrite jade heart with a very pretty 9ct rose gold mount set with seed pearls and two pale pink gemstones, one of which swings freely on a little chain. A lovely quality piece by G E Walton & Co.

It measures 25mm (1 inch) by 23mm (15/16ths of an inch), excluding the suspension bale, and weighs 3.8 grammes. The gold is fully hallmarked for Chester 1908 maker GEW. There are a couple of chips around the bale hole on the back and the front has some scratches where the pink stone swings on the little chain. The top pink stone has a tiny edge chip which is only visible with a jeweller’s loupe. Overall I would rate as very good condition.
