A large antique Edwardian c1910 carved faceted amethyst heart with a 9ct gold suspension bale.
It measures 22mm (7/8ths of an inch) by 20mm (13/16ths of an inch), excluding the suspension bale, and weighs 5.2 grammes. Unmarked but tested as 9ct gold. There is a tiny nibble to the very tip of the heart and there are lots of natural striations within the amethyst. Overall it is in very good condition.
