Edwardian Solid 9ct Rose Gold Albert Watch Chain HM 1902
An antique Edwardian solid 9ct rose gold albert watch chain, 16 inches in length and hallmarked for Chester 1902. Perfect as a necklace or worn wrapped around double as a bracelet.
With a wearable length of 16 inches if worn as a necklace, or 8 inches if wrapped around double for a bracelet, this is a lovely solid 9ct rose gold albert chain with a link that is 4mm (2/16ths of an inch) wide. There is a dog clip on one end and a lovely large bolt ring fastener on the other. There is a T-bar which hangs on a separate piece of chain so that it can move up and down the albert. All of the pieces are marked for 9ct gold except the bolt ring fastener which is actually 15ct gold. One of the chain links has full hallmarks for Chester 1902. The whole piece weighs 20.1 grammes. There is surface wear and some of the links have slight wear but overall very good condition.
The last 3 photographs give an idea of how this could be worn. With it having a dog clip and bolt ring fastener it would be very easy to add charms, fobs and pendants to the chain. PLEASE NOTE The charms are not included in this lot.
