An antique WWI c1910-1915 silver 'Touch Wood' charm of John Bull with a wooden body and head, both nicely detailed, and a locket back containing a picture of a military leader. A fabulous piece.
It measures 27mm (1 inch 1/16th) by 15mm (5/8ths of an inch) and weighs 1.5 grammes. Marked SILVER along with a registration mark that should read as 642336 but the first 2 numbers are missing. The eyes and buttons are missing but otherwise it is in very good condition. His belly is so smooth, rubbed for luck over the last 100 years or so.
