Antique WWI 9ct Gold & Wooden Fumsup Touch Wood Charm with Original Eyes
An antique c1914 WWI 9ct gold Fumsup charm with a wooden head, articulated arms and original glass eyes. Not only can he give the 'Fumsup' but he can also 'Touch Wood'. A very lucky charm and hard to find in gold.
It measures 30mm (1 inch 3/16ths) by 10mm (3/8ths of an inch) and weighs 1.8 grammes. The back is marked 9CT along with the registration number 636612 which dates to around 1914. The wooden head has faint facial features, a faint four leaf clover on the forehead and original glass eyes with pupils. The yellow gold wash has worn in places so the rose gold is showing through underneath and the word FUMSUP has worn away from the front but otherwise it is in lovely condition just a little tarnished.
