A good sized antique Victorian c1895 silver puffed heart charm set with three heart shaped pieces of green Connemara marble to form a shamrock. The front is also hand engraved with leaf decoration. The silver heart is hollow but is filled with something like gesso which the marble is set into. It gives the heart a nice weighty feel.
It measures 18mm (6/8ths of an inch) by 15mm (5/8ths of an inch), excluding the suspension bale, and weighs 2.8 grammes. Marked “STERLING SILV” and in very good condition just one small scratch to the back.
