An antique Edwardian c1910 silver gilt and red enamel dog clip fastener, perfect for hanging fobs and charms from a necklace chain or long guard. A lovely unusual model.
It measures 17mm (11/16ths of an inch) by 7mm (2/8ths of an inch) and weighs 1.2 grammes. There are very worn hallmarks but it tests as sterling silver with a secure closure. It is in very good condition with just some wear to the gilding and the tiniest of surface nibbles to the edge of the enamel.
