A 1950's European Silver Charm Bracelet with 21 Charms
This is a lovely little vintage 1950's European bracelet with a really good range of charms.
Some of the charms are soldered in place but most are on open jump rings. The bracelet has a secure bolt ring fastener which is marked 'Sterling' and the bracelet is marked 800. The bracelet has a wearable length of 7.5 inches with the charms being the small European size which average around 12mm (1/2 an inch) by 10mm (3/8ths of an inch). Thirteen of the charms are silver, either marked 925 or have tested as at least 800 standard. The other 8 are only silver plated. The silver plated charms are as follows: Number 13 in a circle, postman, elephant, man in national costume, woman in national costume, Jerusalem souvenir, bear holding a heart and a Westie dog. The thirteen silver charms are as follows; sitting cat, white ENAMEL cat with ball (some surface wear but otherwise good), bell, enamel zodiac (damaged), number 7, enamel Klagenfurt shield, house with hearts, horseshoe with four leaf clover, small fish, I Love You book, car with hearts, flying fish and finally a rose. All of the charms are flat backed. Some of the silver plated charms had paint details originally but most of this has worn away but otherwise, unless mentioned above, all are in good condition just a little tarnished.
