1950's 9ct Gold Opening Boot House Charm Painted Children Inside
A vintage 1950's English 9ct gold boot house charm from the nursery rhyme "There was an old woman who lived in a shoe, she had so many children, she didn't know what to do". It opens to reveal her and five of her children inside, all very nicely enamel painted.
It measures 17mm (11/16ths of an inch) by 14mm (9/16ths of an inch) and weighs 3.9 grammes. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1959 with a secure closure. It is all in very good condition.
