Vintage 1950's 9ct Gold Opening London Souvenir Photo Book Charm Paper Pages Inside

A vintage 1950's English 9ct gold charm of a miniature book that opens to reveal 12 paper pages inside with 11 photo views of London including St. Paul’s Cathedral, Parliament, Whitehall etc. and a front page with faux black leather and a silvered “LONDON”. A super little piece and rare to find in such good condition. 

It measures 16mm (5/8ths of an inch) by 15mm (5/8ths of an inch) and weighs 2.3 grammes. Marked on the inside of the front cover “9CT” with a secure hinged clasp to the side. The pages are quite stiff to turn but are in remarkably good condition as are the gold covers. A wonderful little charm.
